Maze 1 is the first maze and visitable area in Identity Fraud.

Features[]

Maze 1 is an ambiguous multicursal maze with beige brick walls lined with brown coves. The floor and ceiling both take on a yellowish-grey hue, while lanterns that periodically dim can be seen hanging off the walls. Large grey "gates" are often found around the maze as dead ends or an environmental tool to see what's behind certain walls.

It is unknown what type of area Maze 1 is intended to be, but its design is reminiscent of a prison or dungeon.

While walking around, you may hear a sound that Fraud makes. It is unknown what the sound is supposed to be like.

Enemies[]

Stan, Ralph, and Fraud are all native to this maze, Ralph and Fraud can be lured into Maze 2, while Stan, not limited to pathfinding, can be seen in Maze 2 and Maze 3 as well.

Guide[]

To escape Maze 1, the player must be extremely cautious, since it houses the most monsters of any maze in the game. The mirror can be used as a useful landmark so you don't get lost. The exit for this maze is opened by pushing a small button on a wall nearby to the door. If the button is green, it can be pushed by left clicking on it or if the player is on Xbox, press Y and the metallic doors will slide open. Afterwards, it will turn red and cannot be activated again for roughly 7 minutes or so.

Once you see the mirror, take a right then hug the left wall, heading left at every crossroads but visible dead ends. Doing so will eventually lead yourself to the metal door. (Many people will argue and say that you do the opposite, but both walls work. The left wall is faster.)

Spawn Point Trick[]

The easiest way to get through Maze 1 is to keep re-spawning until you're in a corner leading to two halls. The hall on your left should be fairly short and end in a 2-way intersection. The hall on your right is fairly long and should also end in a 2-way intersection. Go down the long hall on your right and turn left at the intersection. You should now see the mirror in front of you.

This is especially helpful for those attempting Hard Mode as it saves a fair amount of time, thus lowering the chances of encountering any monsters while in the maze.

If you spawned here first try, make sure you try as hard as you can to preserve through the game due the RNG system that will spawn you in other locations than this one.

Trivia[]

  • Tentang Happy It is difficult to put a time on this maze due to random spawn points. The first player in a server will usually spawn near Fraud, in the same place. From this place, by using Fraud's speed boost when it wants to hurt you, it is possible to beat the Maze in less than 40 seconds.
    • You can beat this maze in about 39 seconds using the Spawn Point Trick (see above)
  • Since the revamp, dying near Maze 1's exit leads to respawning at a reserved spawn point, where the door to the exit is visible through a fence, or in front of the exit.
  • There are currently 13 spawn points in this maze.
